Sawdust Art Festival is located in the heart of Laguna Canyon and features the art of 168 Laguna Beach artists and makers. It is an eclectic, handcrafted, outdoor village where visitors can shop for unique artwork in a wide range of media. Live music on three stages, roaming entertainment, daily art demonstrations, and various food and drink offerings are provided for everyone’s pleasure.
I've had only one month to plan, build, and organize my displays. It’s been a whirlwind trying to figure things out and it has been a lot of work, especially since I'll be bringing a lot of my tools & equipment (not the big ones) to work and create. The good news is that the booth has been built, lighting is almost done, and I'm crossing my fingers that displays, wall hangings, and organizing my portable studio will be smooth sailing. The cherry on top is the numerous new, beautiful, pieces I’ve made!
Opening day is Friday, July 2nd, and grounds are open every single day until September 5th. Hours are 11 am to 7 pm, Sunday-Thursday, and 11 am to 10 pm, Friday-Saturday.
