Why Argentium Silver?
I knew of this new metal with higher silver content that performs better than sterling silver a while back & was intrigued. Still, I have to admit it is intimating to work with a new metal with different properties & I knew it wouldn't be an easy task! When the world went upside down with COVID, I decided to bite the bullet and invest in this new medium; many online classes and many failed projects, I'm here to say that I LOVE it! Argentium silver offers many benefits to me as a designer -fusing & other exciting properties (I'll spare you the details :-), and more importantly it provides excellent benefits to you:

What is Argentium Silver? It is a superior, high-performance silver with several unique properties. These properties differentiate Argentium Silver from traditional Sterling silver, making it perfect for both artisans and volume manufacturers.
Is Argentium Silver different from traditional Sterling Silver? Yes. It is purer than Sterling (935 or 960), has increased tarnish resistance, a whiter color, antibacterial and hypoallergenic properties, and a fire stain-free surface. All of these benefits make Argentium Silver better for the end wearer and gentler on the environment, as fewer chemicals are used in production.
There are times that I'll be using sterling, but I can genuinely say that Argentium silver is my metal of choice!
